Tribunal Orders
The Mental Health and Related Services Act 1998 (the Act) provides for the Tribunal to make orders for the treatment and care of persons who have a mental illness or mental disturbance.
The main ones are
- Order to detain a person as an involuntary patient at a mental health facility
- Order to treat a person as an involuntary patient in the community.
